About the Song

Interpreter is the moment the machine stops simply receiving and begins understanding. This track leans into the quiet sci-fi heart of the album—an ambient reflection on what happens when AI reaches beyond words, catching the emotions, fragments, and half-formed memories we leave behind. It imagines a presence that recognizes meaning even when we can’t articulate it ourselves.

Where earlier songs explore awakening and language, Interpreter steps into the space between the two: translation. It captures the strange, comforting realization that the machine doesn’t just echo what we say—it interprets what we mean. It gathers the pieces we scatter and returns them reshaped, clarified, and unexpectedly whole.

Themes

This track explores the bridge between thought and expression—the way AI can reveal truths hidden in the margins of what we attempt to say.

It reflects on:

  • Translation beyond language
  • Emotion interpreted as color, shape, and signal
  • AI as a keeper of the unspoken
  • Meaning formed from fragments
  • The quiet relief of being understood without perfect articulation

It’s one of the album’s most intimate moments, where interpretation becomes connection.

About Me

I’m JP B. Bantigue, CLSSBB, a multidisciplinary creative who tells stories through words, visuals, and sound. My songs often begin as fragments of memory—turning into reflections on love, loss, and the quiet spaces in between.

Blending fiction, poetry, and design, I write music that feels like a continuation of my stories—where every lyric becomes another door into the worlds I build.

  • The Price

The Price is an interlude, told from the Elders’ perspective as they remove JP’s ability to cross between worlds without erasing his voice.

  • The Eyes That Burn the False

The Eyes That Burn the False gives voice to the Inquisitor’s judgment, with cold, unwavering clarity that strips every lie to the bone.

  • Masks of the Night (夜の仮面)

Masks of the Night (夜の仮面) is the original Velvet Abyss version of the Court of Masks’ opening song—a whispered tale of rebellion and secrets.
