The Ragnarok Online Swords Master is a concept class that challenges the standard Ragnarok Online job progression. Inspired by the Super Novice, the Swords Master remains a permanent 1st-job class but unlocks advanced melee combat skills. Unlike traditional swordsmen, they focus on dual-wielding swords, combining speed and precision to overpower enemies.
Swords Master Concept Art and Skill
Having the resolve to become stronger and more skilled than the Knights, the Swordsman’s Guild sought to refine swordplay to its highest form. The Swords Master can now wield two single-handed swords simultaneously, delivering fast and fluid attacks.
Their combat is a graceful display of swordplay, striking enemies with precision. With every attack, a splash effect damages nearby enemies, knocking them back. Despite wielding two weapons, the increased weight does not reduce their attack speed (ASPD). Instead, they become more agile and even more dangerous opponents.

Artwork & Class Map
The Swords Master concept art reflects my Zirostilo style, a technique I refined over time. This piece captures the essence of the class—a swordsman who relies on pure skill rather than job advancements. Alongside the artwork, I created a class progression map, envisioning how the Swords Master could fit into the Ragnarok Online job tree.
Alongside this, I created a custom class map, outlining how the Swords Master fits into the Ragnarok Online job system. As a long-time fan of Ragnarok Online, I’ve always thought there was room for more permanent 1st-job classes that offer a unique challenge for players who prefer to stick to the fundamentals.
Would this class work in the game? I’d love to hear thoughts from fellow Ragnarok Online fans!
