Solutions Incorporated 3D Logo Animation

In February 2010, I was commissioned to turn the existing Solutions Incorporated logo into a 3D animated version—an early foray into blending creative exploration with corporate branding. At the time, I had just started teaching myself 3D modeling and animation, and this project became one of the first real-world opportunities to test what I’d learned.

The logo itself—a stylized blue sphere with sweeping white arcs—was already a strong visual. My task was to give it depth and dimension, quite literally. I modeled the sphere in 3D and applied a custom texture to replicate the original curves and gradients. Technically speaking, it wasn’t an overly complex model. Just a sphere with a texture map, really. But it was the kind of exercise that taught me a lot about lighting, rendering, and timing—especially as I went the extra mile to animate the logo spinning subtly, which, in hindsight, wasn’t actually necessary.

Final Render of 3D Solutions Logo

The final rendered version of the 3D logo created and animated in early 2010.

Looking back now, I see the project not just as a technical milestone, but as something far more personal. My mentors at Solutions Inc.—the company’s leadership team—knew this wasn’t what the company needed. They weren’t looking to modernize their brand with 3D graphics or animation. But they saw a young creative exploring a new skill and gave me the space to try it out anyway. That kind of trust and support shaped me more than they probably realize.

It almost felt like they knew I wouldn’t be with them forever—that this interest in 3D would lead me elsewhere, into new roles and industries. But instead of discouraging it, they indulged it. Looking back, that support meant everything.

About Me

I’m JP B. Bantigue, a multidisciplinary creative who once saw the world in wireframes. My love for 3D started at First Academy of Computer Arts, where I studied architecture and still life modeling, often obsessing over clay renders and ambient occlusion passes. From interiors to vehicles, I’ve always been drawn to the tactile feel of digitally sculpted space.
