Where Doodles Meet Daydreams

Sketching has always been my quiet companion. It helps me capture fleeting thoughts before they vanish. Some of these sketches are refined, while others remain raw and unpolished. But each one tells a story—even if it’s just a whisper of an idea.

Exploring the Archive

This isn’t a curated portfolio of my best work. Instead, it’s a glimpse into my sketchbook from around 2003. These sketches are a mix of spontaneous doodles, quick studies, and half-formed concepts. Some were drawn just for fun, while others were mindless doodles that took on a life of their own.

Sketch Dump: The Demonic Duo

Circa 2003

A playful take on the classic Batman and Robin dynamic. This sketch features an angelic demon and a demonic angel—polar opposites bound by camaraderie.

Sketch Dump: SD Zero and Super Zero

Circa 2003

(Left) A self-portrait capturing fleeting emotions, and (Right) Zero as a super hero with his chibi version beside him.

A Look Behind the Lines

Sketching, like writing, is storytelling in its rawest form. Many of these started as idle scribbles in the margins of notebooks. These sketches may be old, but they remind me of my creative journey. Back then, I drew simply for the joy of it—without overthinking the final result. Instead of letting these pages gather dust, I’m giving them a space to breathe.

Sketching Meets Storytelling

If you’d like to read more about the stories behind these drawings, I can share these stories on my blog. Some are linked to my poetry, while others were inspired by songs playing in the background as I sketched.
