Poring BBQ is a Ragnarok Online fan art piece that turns the game’s iconic porings into skewered barbecue, humorously served by an orc. As a Beta release player of Ragnarok Online PH, I spent countless hours exploring its world. This artwork was my way of contributing to the community. I submitted Poring BBQ as a loading screen entry, hoping to share my passion for the game and its lighthearted humor.

Back then, Ragnarok Online was more than just a game. It was an adventure filled with grinding, partying, and unforgettable moments. I loved it so much that I even considered applying as a Game Master for Level Up! Games, just to merge work and play.

I created Poring BBQ to get my art noticed in the RO community. Digital art wasn’t as accessible back then, so every submission was an opportunity to leave a mark. Even now, this piece captures my nostalgia for Ragnarok Online—the endless farming, quirky monster designs, and friendships built along the way.
