What is MUBE Discussion?

MUBE Discussion was more than just a casual movie night. It was a shared experience filled with film appreciation, inside jokes, and late-night debates.

The name MUBE comes from Ultimate Bonding Experience (UBE)—our close-knit group of friends and former colleagues. These discussions became our way of analyzing movies, breaking down their themes, and sometimes, turning them into hilariously out-of-context takes.

The Fun Side of Movie Analysis

MUBE Discussions were never just about reviewing films. We focused on watching together, enjoying the experience, and having fun.

Every movie night had its own unique energy. Sometimes, we had deep discussions on cinematography or plot twists. Other times, we just made up inside jokes and parodies. Either way, the laughter never stopped.

Stoker: MUBE Discussion

A parody of the Stoker movie poster, featuring some members of the MUBE group superimposed into the roles of the original film characters.

Parasite: MUBE Discussion

January 8, 2020

A reimagining of the Parasite movie poster, with MUBE members edited into the cast. The phrase “Act like you own the face” adds a tongue-in-cheek reference to both the movie’s themes and the playful nature of the edit.

While these discussions often led to creative poster edits, at its core, MUBE was always about the experience of watching, laughing, and analyzing films afterwards.

A Throwback to the UBE Days

MUBE Discussions were about movies, memories, and moments with friends. Whether we were debating theories, reacting to shocking scenes, or laughing at our creative reinterpretations, these sessions made film nights more special.

Though the tradition has faded, the bond, the fun, and the unforgettable conversations remain.

Final Thoughts

MUBE Discussion may no longer be active, but its impact lives on. The laughs, the insights, and the shared love for movies continue to be a special part of our group’s history.

About Me

I’m JP B. Bantigue, a long-time digital tinkerer who once took joy in parody posters and surreal edits. Photomanipulation was where I learned how to bend reality, blur the lines of humor and fantasy, and make ordinary images say something unexpected.
