A Formal Invitation with a Personal Touch
This elegant wedding invitation was a special design request from family—my sister-in-law, April Salonga, and her fiancé, Kevin Codilla. They wanted something that felt elegant, modern, and personal, without relying on overly ornate flourishes. We explored several directions, but ultimately landed on a clean, formal layout anchored by a striking navy blue backdrop and a delicate coral floral motif.
They already had a clear idea in mind: a formal wedding invitation with a navy blue background and coral accents—something elegant and modern, but not overly decorative. My role was to interpret that vision and bring it to life. Using curated vector floral elements, I arranged the design to subtly frame the couple’s names and event details. I then paired the visuals with a thoughtful combination of script and clean sans-serif type to keep the overall tone refined, balanced, and true to their aesthetic.

This was one of those projects that allowed me to bring together family, design, and meaning in one carefully crafted piece.
