Brief History:

Adalheid, a Union X scientist, specialized in developing power cubes, which were used by Union X to energize and power their computers, systems, and defenses. Along with other scientists, they created The Box which revolutionized the way of communication.

The Box emits light particles and turn it into solid in a form of a human. The projected particles can then touch, carry, or interact with humans just like a normal person.

During the latter 35 ADs, in the Abandoned Sanctum, just after the team finalized The Box, innocent lives of Nontensities and other Cancellers were blown to oblivion by an unexpected override.

It was unfortunate that Adalheid, the head-developer of The Box, was one of the casualties of that incident.

However, some believed that her entity was transferred to The Box just before the override explosion.

Unique Ability (UA): Phase Shift

Since Adalheid is now one with PYXIS, she is able to loosen her body into photons and enter the cyber network. When traveling into any cyber network, she is able to access data that are not securely protected by internal systems.

Also, like advanced computers, she is able to store and execute programs and instructions easily.

Disability (DA): Down Time

PYXIS, the source of all her energy (for short, a battery), has limited amount of energy per charge. Once the power is drained, PYXIS needs to be recharged. Adalheid, who is composed of mere photons floating in the air attached to threads of information, diffuses and returns to the source of power: PYXIS, located in the anatomical position of the heart.

Normally, the energy from PYXIS can last up to 3 days without recharging. When the power is drained, PYXIS usually hibernates. In hibernate mode, PYXIS gathers energy from its surroundings and converts it to power that can be used by its system. Recharge will usually take up to 5 hours.
