Project Overview
The Alpine Village App is an interactive real estate application developed for Brittany’s Alpine Village, a Swiss village-inspired real estate development located in Tagaytay, Philippines. Designed to assist real estate agents and developers, the app offers an immersive experience through custom-illustrated maps, interactive master plans, and site development plans with clickable hotspots that reveal their corresponding concept art.
This project stands out as one of my favorites due to its visual beauty and the challenge of capturing the serene, picturesque Alpine ambiance in a functional UI.
While the user experience (UX) framework was predefined, my contributions included:
- User Interface (UI) Design: Created a minimalist, Alpine-inspired interface reflecting traditional Swiss village aesthetics.
- Custom-Illustrated Interactive Map: Developed a detailed map representing the charm and layout of Alpine villages.
- Graphic Enhancements: Designed interactive master plans and site development plans with clickable hotspots revealing concept art.
- Application Development: Helped develop the app using the predefined Flash-based framework, ensuring seamless integration of design elements.
The Alpine Village App Key Features
The application is developed using Flash and deployed for both Windows and web platforms. Key features include:
- Custom-Illustrated Interactive Location Map: Allows users to explore Alpine Village’s location, landmarks, and surrounding areas, designed in an authentic Swiss chalet style.
- Interactive Master Plan & Site Development Plan: Users can navigate the development layout and click on hotspots to reveal concept art of key areas.
- Building Exterior & Floor Selection: Offers an interactive way to explore different floors and unit layouts.
- Interactive Floor Plans & Unit Selection: Displays refined unit floor plans, ensuring clarity for potential buyers.
Design Contributions
A major highlight of this project was crafting a visually striking, interactive UI that captured the essence of Alpine architecture. Using the predefined framework for the app, I developed a clean, minimalist UI that enhances real estate exploration. My custom-illustrated map and interactive master plan made navigation both engaging and visually appealing.
