Across the Universe: A Sci-Fi Short Story

,

Across the Universe is a sci-fi short story by John Paul B. Bantigue, originally written for the 3rd Philippine Graphic Fiction Awards.

Introduction

Some journeys begin with a single step. Others start with a question—one that lingers at the edge of reality and imagination. Across the Universe is a story of longing, discovery, and the quiet pull of the unknown. It explores the spaces between us, the mysteries that shape our connections, and the possibilities that unfold when we dare to reach beyond our world.

Originally written for the 3rd Philippine Graphic Fiction Awards, this narrative delves into the unknown—what lies beyond what we can see, touch, and understand. My goal was to weave a tale that blends introspection with the surreal, intertwining emotion and the cosmic.
