Court of Masks

Standing Before the Court

I didn’t expect Court of Masks to become a full album. It started as a small experiment—one track inspired by Coup, a quiet nod to a game I’ve always loved. But once I leaned into the idea of “influences,” the world of the Court widened almost immediately. Each role carried its own cadence, its own personality, and before long, the personas I’ve been building through Suno began slipping into place as if they’d always belonged there.

A tribute to Coup, a reflection on the tension between identity and intention, and a chance to explore the stories implied by each influence: the blade hiding behind a whisper, the elegance that shields itself through silence, the voice that negotiates with empires, the inquisitor who burns through falsehoods.

What began as a single mask became an entire Court.

The Concept Behind the Influences

In Coup, every influence is a kind of mask—granted, claimed, lost, stolen, or bluffed. Each one carries weight in the shadows, shaping decisions without ever revealing the whole truth.

This album interprets those influences not just as roles in a game, but as personalities that sing through different voices:

Each persona—WOLFE, KYU.BI, 4STRÆ, Z3RØ, 3 Crows, EU, and Velvet Abyss—steps into these influences not as characters in a story, but as vessels translating the atmosphere behind each role. They give the Court its voices, its whispers, and its shifting tensions.

Introducing the Tracks

Every track in Court of Masks has its own dedicated page, where the full concept, persona interpretation, and creative direction unfold. But as a whole, the album moves through the Court in a deliberate rhythm: from the first quiet step into candlelit intrigue to the open-ended invitation at the end.

Together, they map a world of strategy and subtlety, where every choice reshapes the Court.

An Open Invitation

The final track, Whispers of the Unmasked, leaves a deliberate gap in the lore. Not every influence has been written. Not every mask has been claimed.

If you’re a creator—composer, vocalist, writer, producer—you’re invited to step into this universe and craft your own influence. The Court always has room for one more mask.

About Me

I’m JP B. Bantigue, CLSSBB, a multidisciplinary creative who tells stories through words, visuals, and sound. My songs often begin as fragments of memory—turning into reflections on love, loss, and the quiet spaces in between.

Blending fiction, poetry, and design, I write music that feels like a continuation of my stories—where every lyric becomes another door into the worlds I build.
